Diesel Turbo-Charged
Generac's diesel engines provide smooth, reliable power and longer life. Each engine is power matched to the alternator, effectively yielding its highest kW rating. In addition, turbo-charging and aftercooling significantly increase engine horse power.
The turbo-chargers are precisely matched to the engine and fuel system, which helps provide fuel efficiency and reduce emissions. They also help minimize noise levels and allow the engine to operate effectively at higher altitudes.
The aftercooling system provides denser air for more efficient combustion and reduces exhaust temperatures to improve valve, piston and piston ring life.
